KCU Young Library Policies and Procedures During Covid-19

This guide will help you determine how to access Young Library resources and assistance during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

The Copier/ Scanner will continue to be available for patron use.

The copier in front of the electronic classroom will continue to be in use.  Please be aware of social distancing while you are waiting to use this equipment.

 

WHEN:

  • The copier will be available for printing from a computer, scanning, and making a copy during normal operating hours:
    • Monday & Wednesday           8 am - 10 pm
    • Tuesday & Thursday             8 am - 9:30 am & 10:30 am - 10 pm
    • Friday                                  8 am - 5 pm
    • Saturday                              9 am - 1 pm
    • Sunday                                3 pm - 10 pm
  • Copies, Scans, and printing requests can be sent to library@kcu.edu and will be filled during regular operating hours

WHERE:

  • The Copier/ Scanner is located in the main area of the library.

HOW:

  • Printing jobs sent from the copier will print out automatically.  Pages should be retrieved from the copier.  Each copy costs 10 cents/ side.  Money should be paid at the Circulation desk.
  • Documents that need to be copied can be done by the patron.  However, if you would like assistance to make a copy, please contact the Circulation desk.  Copy jobs cost 10 cents/side.
  • Pages from books and journals may be scanned directly to the patrons email.  Patrons are encouraged to scan pages themselves.  We are happy to teach you how to do this on our current printer/copiers.
  • Copier screens will be sanitized as frequently as door handles in the library.
