Organization of Databases

KCU's databases are organized by field of study.

There is a "General Studies" section to begin, which is a great place to start, especially when uncertain of how a research question fits into a particular field.

  • Academic Search Complete, the first database choice, is a fantastic place to start for most inquiries.

Below this, fields of study are listed alphabetically (Business, Literature, Physical Sciences, etc.). Databases unique to the listed disciplines are displayed alphabetically underneath.

Identify a database that fits your class, subject, or research topic, then use the research methods presented to you later in this guide to perform effective searches!
