Knight Guide

Information contained within the print version of the Knight Guide that all new students receive from Student Services when they arrive at KCU

NAIA Champions of Character

 

All incoming KCU athletes are required to create an account with
the NAIA and send all required documentation before they are
eligible to practice or play.

NAIA STEPS TO TAKE

Step 1 – Create a NAIA Eligibility Center Account at playnaia.org


Step 2 – Send all required documentation to NAIA


Official High School Transcript

  • Must include graduation date, cumulative GPA, and class rank
  • Must be sent through the NAIA portal – High School counselor must make high school profile to do
  • this. This is the fastest way.
  • Or, the documentation may be sent in the mail to the above address in a school envelope, sealed and
  • stamped by school official
  • May be sent through Parchment. Select “Academic Destinations > Missouri > NAIA Eligibility Center ”

 

Official ACT or SAT Score

  • NAIA only accepts scores that come from the testing center directly
  • Must be requested online through one of the following websites: SAT–collegeboard.com ACT–act.org
  • Use school code 9876 to send to NAIA

 

Official College Transcript(s)

  • Must be official and issued to the NAIA Eligibility Center
  • May be sent through NAIA portal – Registrar must make a college profile to do this. This is the fastest way.
  • May be sent in the mail using the above address in a school envelope, sealed, and stamped by a school official
  • Can be sent through an online service (Escrip-Safe, National Transcript Center, National StudentClearinghouse, ConnectEdu) using the email address documents@naia.org

Within your account, you can check to see if the NAIA has posted your eligibility status or if you’re missing
any documents. The NAIA explains the athletes’ final status by typically posting in their profile within 3-5
business days after they have received all documentation.
