Welcome to Young Library's Summer Reading Challenge! We are very excited about this reading opportunity. The program begins on May 1st! All students as of August 2024, faculty (including adjuncts & online), staff, and alumni are eligible to participate.
Young Library has created a reading challenge/opportunity that you might enjoy over the summer. It includes reading both fiction and non-fiction titles. Each title read qualifies you to place your name in a drawing for a $25 gift certificate to Amazon. A total of 5 certificates will be awarded.
Participation is not mandatory, but this is a great opportunity to relax as well as to maintain your current reading speed. Reading for class assignments can be difficult and time consuming at the beginning of the semester, especially after a long summer break. Staying "in practice" will help you to complete reading assignments more quickly and more efficiently in the fall. You can join at any time and the challenge does not end until September 3rd. We look forward to hearing from all of you this summer!
