Western Africa

This area of Africa is famous for its medicinal plants, many of which are used around the world scientifically and homeopathically. Here are a couple and what they treat:

This plant produces "Alligator Pepper" from its seed pods, which is used to treat Cholera, smallpox and chickenpox, measles.
