NUR 290 - Finding Peer-reviewed journals

Using databases to locate peer-reviewed articles

How to Filter a Results list in EBSCO

Filtering a Results List

Once you have typed in your search term in an EBSCO database and added your search options, you should end up with a "Results List".  This list can be narrowed using the column on the left.

  • Change the date to make the articles more current
  • Double check to make sure that "Scholarly (peer-reviewed) is checked
  • Select "Academic journals"

All of these limiters will help you to produce a list of articles that are on topic and peer-reviewed.
