The name "Hallyuwood," just like Bollywood, is a portmanteau. "Hallyu" means "Korean Wave," which is the term given to their burgeoning film industry. South Korea has become particularly synonymous with television - particularly in the twenty-first century. With hits like Parasite and Squid Games, the South Korean entertainment industry is now globally renowned. You'll find many hit Korean shows on a variety of streaming services, such as Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. However, you can find some great content scouring YouTube as well.
