Interlibrary Loan Renewals Policy

 

RECIPROCAL AGREEMENTS

Young Library holds reciprocal borrowing agreements with the schools listed below:

 Morehead State University

 Ashland Community College

 FoKAL(Federation of Kentucky Academic Libraries) consortia schools.

 ACA (Appalachian College Association) participating schools.

 Tri-State Bible College – South Point, Ohio - Henderson Library

 ACL (Association of Christian Librarians) participating schools.

These agreements permit Kentucky Christian University students, faculty, and staff to borrow materials from all participating schools based upon their reciprocal borrowing policies. A valid KCU ID must be presented for reciprocity to occur.

KCU Reciprocal Borrowing Policy

Reciprocal borrowing cards are issued to any student from a reciprocal borrowing school with a valid ID. They must be renewed each year. These card holders may check out books in our main circulation area, Popular reading collection, circulating DVDs, and audio books.

Reciprocal patrons may not request interlibrary loans.

 Items may be checked out for 2 weeks with an option to renew an item for 2 weeks

 Patrons may check out up to 6 books at a time

 Replacement fees for a lost book are charged based on Replacement value of the title + a $10 processing fee
