NORTH AMERICA at the COLUMBUS ZOO

The Columbus Zoo in Ohio is not that far away.  It opened in 1927.  It has many different regions and one of them focuses on the animals of North America!  Here you can see many animals from this continent, even the shy ones!  Columbus Zoo has always focused on Conservation.  Many of the animals at the zoo are on the endangered species list.  Not only does the Zoo work on helping these animals, but they are also involved with breeding and releasing them back into the wild.  They have recently been focusing on improving the North American region so you will see many changes in the coming years.  Click on the photo above to take a tour of the North American region of the Columbus Zoo.  Then look in the column on your left and subscribe to the Columbus Zoo YouTube channel and watch more of the animals!  How many animals did you see in the video?  We counted at least 17!
