Museums

The Smithsonian is the world's largest museum, education, and research complex.  It consists of 21 museums and the National Zoo.  The majority of the museums are located in the Washington, DC area.  You can spend hours on the Smithsonian web page.  In their Explore tab you will find articles to read, exhibits to explore, and videos to watch.  Expect to spend a lot of time clicking!  The Smithsonian also has a YouTube channel where you can watch videos and documentaries on research that the complex has discovered.  You can subscribe to the channel to be sure that you are notified when new content is added.  Finally, we leave you with a tour of the Smithsonian's Natural History Museum.  What a great way to end our exploration of North America ----with dinosaur bones!
